I think people vastly overrate the championship. If there were those players they would already be playing in the premiership.

Taking Everton as an example, is Cuco better than every championship full back? Niasse better than all the strikers? Williams ditto.

There are dozens of foreign and British players in the PL that have comparable in the Championship.

Any international team with Henderson deserves ridicule. He's a decent PL midfielder and no more. The England team would better off with a few of the under 20s with a view to actually building a team that could one day challenge for something.

I would go with that but I'm not sure about the midfield, goalkeeper, left back or Stones.

I think Wilshere needs to play. I can't really think of anyone else who is capable of unlocking a defense and I'm not even sure he is.

You're being very generous there mate.

I think all teams need a water carrier. That's all he is. A top rate one like Didier Deschamps? You win the world cup. A good one like Gareth Barry in his prime and you might win something domestically. With a Henderson quality one, you might make the champions league, but you'll win nowt.

Either way, Horrendouson is not good enough for international football. I think even he knows that himself.

The odd thing i see is Southgates sudden urge and need to play 3 at the back, he has picked 6 + Dier so im guessing that is how he will go about it.
Including players he hasent picked he has
Stones and Cahill who aren't being played by there club team, and i wouldnt trust Stones alongside 2 other inexperienced centre halfs
Harry McGuire on 3 caps who if his head wasn't so massive no one would notice him, he's a wannabe winger who gets pulled out of position so often that it would get really highlighted at international level
Joe Gomez on 2 england caps who hasent played centre half all season
Tarkowski and Mawson who dont have a cap between them. I rate Mawson but are we seriously going to throw someone into a world cup who has barely got a game
Smalling, Southgate has burnt his bridges with
Jones is injury prone
Keane has struggled at times without a leader this season so would be a nightmare alongside Stones

He's copying Spurs and Chelsea who have had success with it recently. But I don't think it suits our squad. It leaves you with 2 CMs and our CMs are mainly turd so it will leave us horribly exposed against the likes of Belgium.
