Why on earth would you want this to happen?! Get the per of them as far away from Goodison as quickly as possible. I'm all for local lads staying on the books but these two clowns need to go now. Hibbert has only obtained his cult like status because he's been so crap for so long it's become a joke. Osman has had the VERY odd isolated half decent performance in his time here but hardly anything really special and certainly nothing to justify keeping him on the wage bill.

Do you feel the same about David Unsworth?
A pretty limited player in his time. But seems to be doing an excellent job right now if you ask me.

We get this perception that the likes of Hibbert and Osman are 'awful players' but they're footballers who have played in the premier league for all their careers bar the odd loan for Osman early doors.

That's insanely valuable experience and could certainly be used in some capacity. Plus it's never bad having people who actually care about the club being around.

It's not like either of them has countless league medals or champions league email experience either.

Not at all because you see Unsworth was 10 times the player that either Hibbert or Osman were at their peak. They wouldn't of lasted at any other club this long, they worked under Moyes for most of their run and the man was loyal to his loyalists, then they worked under the Catalan Clown. Any manager with half a brain who wasn't blinded by loyalty would of got rid years ago. I'm sure they do care for the club, I'd care for any institution daft enough to pay me the money they've been on while doing my job as badly as they've done.

It is difficult to contemplate Everton without Hibbo...I'd hope he gets a 1-2 year extension. As he showed at the end of the season, there's still a hell of a footballer in Hibbo.
