Very sadly, this is not going to end well.

Surely they must be able to go off mobile phone signals to narrow down the area the plane disappeared. Again it's the usual "how can you lose a plane" scenario.
But 2 days of searching and not a single sighting of any wreckage, no indication that it landed safely anywhere. I am no expert but I don't think I plane landing on water would just drop immediately to the bottom.
Thanks mate. Great post, would read again.clearly

Fingers cross Mr Emiliano pops up sooner rather than later, if only just to give his family closure and peace.
Stay on topic pal! Thoughts are with FC Nantes and Cardiff City FC this morning. Praying for a safe return, or at least him being returned to his family asap.Jeez mate, did you wake up this morning and decide you feel like being a massive helmet today?
The type of aircraft (single engine weighted at the front) would mean if they did ditch there would be a strong possibility it would flip forward when it bellied. You hear about planes going missing around Bermuda, or south east Asia, but the English Channel?? People swim that. Its so surreal to imagine what happened. Its been so cold lately at this point I can't imagine there's much hope of finding them alive even if they had got into a life raft.
He'll be half way to Brazil by now. No idea how they can come to that conclusion, but I am sure they have their reasons. Hopefully it is the case and he's found. But extremely unlikely. Stranger things have happened mind you.Seems utterly bizzare to me that they’ve publicly announced that they are working with the theory that he’s survived on a raft and just hasn’t been found
Cardiff City have said they hadn't arranged any transportation for him as he arranged it himself. I can only imagine he was trying to save a few quid by going for a cheaper option rather than paying for the luxury private jet we expect most Premier league players to use.Why was he on such a terrible plane?
Who sanctioned it?
