I still dont get how they cannot pay up and say hes not there player etc, when they paraded him infront of the cameras, disgrace from them it is to me anyway

Think it is really poor on their part. Fighting over a small amount of money for these clubs and the lad has tragically passed away. Feel for his family as well going through it all. Disgraceful.

You live in a different world to the rest of us mate. Before Moshiri rocked up we might be smarting from burning 15 million pounds. Cardiff are over 100 million in debt and lost 34 million last year alone. He was the clubs record signing, it's like us having to pay 45 million for no player...it is going to make a very material difference to the accounts. Yes it's all very unsavory, but this sort of thing could see Cardiff go to the wall. If we were in that position I'd rather we look bad and protect our club and that is what they're trying to do.

Not really mate £5 million which is what they have been asked to pay unless they get a transfer ban is nothing for football clubs even in the Championship especially one just being in the Prem and getting money for being relegated. If they are so much in debt then that's their own fault and nothing to do with this. Personally think what they doing is poor but that's my opinion.

If it was just the 5 million in the form of a settlement they would probably pay up, but if they pay up now then I guess they are admitting he was their player and would be honour bound to pay the other 2 installments. A lot of clubs are up to their eyes and while yes that is Cardiff's fault for chasing the promised land, you have to feel a bit sorry that the player they pinned their hope's on to keep them in the PL and thus ease the financial problems dies without playing a game and they have to pay up in full. It's an extraordinary event and one hopefully we never see again.

I hope Cardiff goto the wall over this.

They're only sore because flying him in with an unlicensed pilot organised by an unlicensed agent will invalidate any insurance they had.

Its the equivalent of ordering a £5000 porcelain plate and asking me to deliver it. It was dreadfully sad, but Cardiff, the agent, totally screwed it up.

No arguments there.

Would you feel the same if it was Everton? I'm not saying what Cardiff are doing is right but I can understand why. I feel sorry for all the parties involved except the agents. Nantes deserve to get money for their player. Cardiff should have sorted the flights out and I guess they will be in future having learnt the most painful of lessons.
