Player Valuation: £40m
From IMScouting (although the quote seems fairly sure):
Egyptian international striker Emad Metab, who is currently plying his trade for Saudi side Al Ittihad, on loan from Egypt's Al Ahly, might be on his way to Everton. (Metab was a former IMScouting Player to Watch.)

The player's agent, Mohamed Hamid, said: "I traveled to England a week ago to agree on final details of the contract with Everton. We agreed on everything, and Emad Metab was informed about the course of negotiations, and he is glad about it."

The agent added that Metab, who has scored five goals in eight appearances this season, is not satisfied playing in the Saudi league. "We will have only to wait for the end of the season until he officially moves to the English league," Hamid added.

Exactly, we've got the Yak, Saha, Vic, Vaughan and Baxter. Most don't get enough time on the pitch as it is, unless we are selling 1 of the more experienced strikers it would be pointless as he won't even play

What Moyes needs to do is get a quality DM lined up for January

His name popped up in the summer being linked with us. I wouldn't be surprised if there was any truth in this.

Totally agree with that. A striker should be the last of our priorities.
A quality DM and a pacey winger should be top of our shopping/wish list.

Two have poor injury records, one has never proved himself at the top level, one is extremely young, and one is a valuable asset who has been linked with other clubs.

Totally agree with you, we are desperate for a winger with pace. If we are going in for anyone this is what we need definately not another forward.

But we only play 1 up front most of the time, unless DM is planning on selling Yak I just don't see the point when there are so many positions that need strengthening before the front line (RB, DM, Wingers etc.)

Ha ha whats the panic, you know wel be up at 12:00 on Aug 31st waiting for a signing!

If it was a runner, which i doubht surely the club would have insisted on a confidentiality clause for a future deal.
