Elstone refusing to allow shareholders who are also Blue Union members into meetings

Nobody knows what the actual figure is. I agree £125m is over the top. I think we're probably attractive at around £40m-£50m but even then a new stadium and star studded players is going to cost 5 times that in addition to the purchase. I think some people are expecting all board members to give the club away for free. I don't know our true valuation. The only way to find out would be to ask.

50 seconds into that video onwards.

Apparently, £150-160m is "not far off", and Harris has no reason to simply lie about it to Sky Sports.

We're over-valued mate; the only discussion point is why we're overvalued. Is it a simple case of our board being greedy and hoping for the big pay off for no investment, or is it a case of Kenwright wanting to hold on to his toy and remain "King Evertonian", given it's costing him nothing to do so? Who knows.

If we were valued correctly, accounting for the new stadium, chronic lack of investment etc. at around £40m to £50m, there's no doubt in my mind we would have been sold by now.

All any investor has to do is bring the details of a bid into the public domain and the board would come under enormous pressure to sell or at least negotiate.....of course the buyer has to have worthwhile credentials.

The board have not come under any pressure from the fanbase because at present no viable alternative has come forward. There is no point in calling for the board to resign..or sell..or leave until we have somebody to take their place.

The only way that the board will ever come under real pressure is if investors /buyers confirm that the current board won't negotiate or are asking for silly money.

That ain't how big business works mate. First thing Everton would do with a prospective buyer before anything else would be to sign a non-disclosure agreement until both parties agree to information being released. Without doing that, no business would occur.

So anyone who tried a leak like that wouldn't have anything whatsoever to back it up, and they'd damage their own reputation as a reputable company to do confidential business with moving forward, because to be rebuffed in a bid would mean they had actually bid and accepted a non-disclosure agreement.

That's why all the "phantom bids" that Kenwright spoke of to the Blue Union never come to light, because they're simply not allowed to disclose them. The most you'll get is informal rumours, and there's been plenty of those over the years.

Amen brother. Trying to say this all along.

I know you're a fair mod Groucho but If that was me I'd be banned. Getting beyond a joke like.

Firstly, you're not banned, secondly, please don't air grievances in public and thirdly, let's drop it now and get back on topic.

Also, re: Blue Union getting banned, I don't know what Elstone is trying to achieve by doing that. All it does is give the Blue Union credibility and makes the board look like dictators.

Things like this, and the banning of AGM's looks like they have something to hide. They should have the testicular fortitude to face the detractors head on, not hide from them.

Exactly. I thought they would have learned from the initial Blue Union fiasco that if you give them enough rope, amateurs will hang themselves.

The more open and transparent Everton are, the harder it is to criticise them.

Instead, anyone can claim anything about Kenwright etc. and a sizeable amount of people will believe it to be true, simply because they run the club like North Korea.

Can you imagine the GOT Admin suggesting to Elstone that he'll run a fair, impartial interview with him that will get the truth out to Evertonians about various matters? Going on the clubs actions over the last decade, he'd be taken behind a shed and shot for just suggesting it.

It really doesn't. The BU burnt the bridge. Unlucky.
