Sure, free speech has limits. But where is Elon Musk inciting hatred? Where is he defaming anyone? Where is he threatening violence? Unless it's these things I've listed, it's fair game.

I also find it disingenuous that you claim to be American who is an "absolutely" a first amendment guy yet in another post in this thread, you are calling for a foreign government to arrest one of our own citizens (Musk).
Your take on this is absurd. You want to be racist? Yeah, people will take care of it. You want to be mysognistic? Yeah, same. You want to have the RICHEST [Poor language removed] PERSON IN THE WORLD do a Nazi salute and THATS your "1st AMENDMENT" bullcrap?

But, yeah, I'm the one "claiming" to be an American. Pot fn kettle you disingenuous douche.

I wouldn't allow anyone to paint anything without my permission on my sandwich board, which is responsible for my business.

I'd obviously remove the swastika but what's exactly your point with this question? Are you suggesting I should be arrested if I don't remove the swastika?
You make a good point, people shouldn't be allowed to paint swastikas on your sandwich board.
But if they did, you would remove it because it would no doubt cause hatred and violence.

I think most people would agree with you on those two things.

Twitter is Elon Musks sandwich board. He allows people to use twitter to incite hatred and violence, and doesn't remove it. So when you ask where is Musk spreading hate, or where is Musk inciting violence, you have answered your own question.

I'm mainly concerned as to why people are following @emir around and painting swastikas on his sandwich board when he's not looking. Sounds like he's being pranked by a rogue youtuber.

Again, doing a nazi salute is protected under the 1st amendment. Elon Musk is free to face any repercussions but the point stands that he has the right to do that. When you pledge allegiance to the flag, do you bother even reading into the constitution at all?

You literally were pushing for Germany to arrest Musk in one of your posts. No matter what you think about Musk, he is our asshole. You sound traitorous.

Musk is a free speech absolutist but that comes with both benefits and drawbacks. I think Twitter under Dorsey was a leftist echo-chamber that censored heavily against right-wing views. I'm glad Musk has restored equity somewhat by allowing right-wing accounts back into the fold but it seems like he has gone heavily in the other direction by promoting right-wing with degenerate views into the algorithm. I'd rather he made Twitter something in the middle rather than making the opposite of Dorsey's Twitter.

Not exactly a full throated denial. At this point I don’t even know that it really matters whether he truly meant it, or is just thinks it’s funny because he’s mentally a 14 year old edgelord. The richest and arguably most powerful man on the planet being either of those things is concerning.

Now I know you’re a troll, you had me for a while.

He isn’t a free speech absolutist, at all. Various foreign states have managed to get Twitter / X to sign up to their legal systems in order to operate, and several people are doing lengthy prison sentences because of what they wrote on the platform. He also doesn’t entertain free speech when it affects him, as that guy who ran the account updating where his planes were found out.

As for Twitter being a left wing echo chamber under Dorsey, that wasn’t my experience at all. It’s always had a tolerance for Nazis.
