Current Affairs Elon Musk

San Francisco has been infected by the alpha dreams of nerds, and there are lots of influential dangerous voices in that mix. As you say, Thiel is up there, Yarvin has probably been a, or the major thought leader but there are loads of deranged thinkers. Another with crackpot ideas that would be best kept to role play is Balaji Srinivasan. Sadly he is another who is seen as a visionary by the tech power brokers. His book, "The Network State: How to Start a New Country" (2022) is another peak through the tech world window.
He's completely deranged, that guy. His ideas are probably the most out there.

Being against free speech isn't a flex.

Pointing out that Musk’s “awkward gesture” would likely get him arrested in Germany isn’t really to argue the soundness of German law (which has a specific and unique historic context around Nazi symbology and ideology), it’s to argue that what Musk did was clearly and undeniably a Nazi salute, despite those trying to convince people to reject the evidence of their eyes and ears.

All free speech has limits, even in the free utopia of America. See Dominium Voting Systems versus Fox News, when Tucker Carlson told lies about Dominium voting machines being used to steal an election. That ‘Free’ Speech cost Fox News a cool $787m.

America is a free country for everyone. Elon Musk can do whatever harmless gesture he would wish to do without there being any repercussions. Europe doesn't have free speech.
Yet, there’s not many places in Europe I’d have to be worried about a psychotic incel blasting me in the back with an AR-15 when I’m trying to buy milk and eggs

Its not much of a law thing and more of a decay in society in USA. Brought on by turbo capitalism. Utilised through 'maga'.

15 years ago in the states if someone did that in American politics that would be the end of them. Socially and politically. Massive repercussions. Maybe not handcuffs. But repercussions.

even today if you are a citizen in USA. Do it to your boss every day at work. Do it in the grocery store and all day everyday. See are you repercussion free.

Don’t waste your time with this one. He’s a completely unserious person.

How is her pointing out that what he did was a nazi salute and is illegal in certain countries a 'flex'?

Also, why is a nazi salute a harmless gesture?
