Has it? If so, I think it is cos most right wing opinions are not particularly nice and, as such, they are less likely to share them - that was until Trump, Brexit and Elon etc normalised division and the like. What would you rather your family/friends see you post... inclusivity or division??

My facebook feed recently is full of 'life was better when we were younger' or 'woke nonsense' posts, it is pure Russian bot stuff generating anger among people stupid enough to fall for it.

Fair points, I think the reason for the higher percentage usually is a socio demographic one, lower/blue collar are more likely in the states to be conservative, middle class/white collar more likely to be liberal. One groups more likely to hop on the internet during down time then the other, especially during work hours

The internet by and large is a horrid venue to gauge true opinion anyway as the vocal minority tends to dominate in terms of both post count, activity and gatekeeping.
