Framing of the debate really matters. Hearts and minds wins. Can have all the fact and truth on your side, if you go about debating in a high handed manner that cannot be broken down to how the individual goes about living their life then its meaningless twaddle for many. As for Musk I doubt very much X had much influence on Trump winning, the algorithms would have reaffirmed bias already within the user, may put some meat on the bones of someone leaning into Make America Great Again.

I gave threads ago after leaving twitter and it's crap. It doesn't react to current affairs/live news instantly like twitter did. The content is appalling. It's just loads of brain dead engagement posts. 70% of it is just a comparison of life in the US and UK. "ya'll I can't belive you guys in England like marmite, tea, cask Ale and Victoria sponge, that stuff is garbage" blah blah etc etc backwards and forwards. Then there's a load of back slapping posts congratulating themselves on leaving twitter. Can't stand the place, bluesky seems more promising, but early days.
