Only watched the first 5 mins. I like Stewart, but I think the point others are making might be that 4 months doesn’t change the perception of the last 4 years. Votes were lost long before the Harris switch and change in tone for some of the new messaging. “Why didn’t you care about the border 4 years ago?” “Why didn’t you acknowledge the problem earlier instead of telling everyone there was no issue?” Basically actions speak louder than words or something to that effect I think is what some are highlighting.

Yeah, looks promising so far. Then again so did Threads for a few weeks. Now it seems to be filled with try-hard engagement baiters and religious loons.

Twitter, X, whatever you call it, won't do a MySpace as it's beyond the competitors by a very significant amount, it's the Coke of the maximum attention span of 280 character generation, the tik tok 60 second generation shared that mindset too.

I used to like Stewart but think like anyone doing the same thing for years he's just aged badly, still better than contemporary people to the most part, but the edge has gone.

As for the rest - yeah actions do speak louder than words, especially words in the last three months of a campaign. Trump's biggest asset was not being able to do any of the crap he shouted the last three years, the Dems problem was being in a position to do stuff and either failing or doing things the voter didn't like.
