Ironically there were a few major industrialists that came together at a certain infamous mans behest in 1930's Germany. But I'm being pedantic on a Saturday evening. Many apologies.
Did he kill them after a while?

Sadly not, more than a few made it out with someone else's riches and went on to be famous industrialists in the decades after.Did he kill them after a while?
Trump is Clarkson. The shobgite. The bearded Brussels sprout is deffo the Richard Hammond of the trio. But who is Clarkson and who is May out of Trump and Musk?

That was my initial thought. But you know what- Musk is a humongous gobshite and Trump is also a dithering blustering dork.Trump is Clarkson. The shobgite.
Musk is May. The dork.
The co op in the wire?Trump and Musk will fall out within a few months, probably the only good thing to come out of this. I cannot think of one example where two big business men worked together well
Im sure 'most' investors if were going on numbers are retail and so would either see a long term upside or a long term vision and being 'part of it' as their goal.
Thats typically the stupid money.
If you are an institutional investor of significant size then ask yourself what other reasons you may have for investing.
Personally it would either be access or positioning my company to align with this type of vehicle, or both.
Given Trumps track record on firing and cycling through cabinet hires, I’d be surprised if Musk & RFKjr last the course.Trump and Musk will fall out within a few months, probably the only good thing to come out of this. I cannot think of one example where two big business men worked together well
I mean, you can call people who have dumb but TSLA has outperformed pretty much the entire S&P 500 over the last 5 years or so.Im not sure I totally buy into the concept of dumb money, but let's roll with it. Tesla/Musk investors are basically quite dumb. People who don't really understand value and the concept of price. I think they buy it because they like Musk, and the conceptmof disruption is enticing.
For institutional investors, which are the majority, I suspect would want to see a return. That's what they are marked too isn't it?
I'm not sure why a BlackRock manager really cares too much about influence.
I mean, tactically you might say that Musk has done a deal whereby he protects his product with tariffs on opponents. It's the embodiment of crony capitalism, and more broadly doesn't really help innovation, but Im not sure you're massively bothered about the noble benefits of free market capitalism if you get more money.
Forget all the nonsense about free speech, his actions show he doesn't care about that, but if there are uncompetitive tariffs put out on rival companies, it's a big win for Musk.
