Lol, you literally responded to someones example of Musk treating workers badly with this

and you have the cheek to call out others for supposed childish posts ? Like you're up in here dropping big brained pearls of wisdom lol

Sweatshops are a good example of treating workers poorly. Low wages , harsh conditions , lack of health and safety.

So no, not a childish response. Not being able to unionise isnt comparable to sweat shop conditions that do exist for many big name companies. That is treating workers poorly, the entire bottom level of Tesla aren't poorly treated.

Now Amazon warehouse workers, you can argue a case for their circumstances being poorly treated.

Then what's the issue?

Tesla sacked someone illegally and they were compensated for their trouble through a court of law.

Do they sack employees illegally often?

It's very very uncommon, particularly in the US, for an ex-employ to win a case such as this in the courts against a multi billion dollar company.

It's also very uncommon for a case to go to court

So an act like this does not happen often, so you could say this is worse than most

He's a not a totally white or black figure in terms of whether he does good or bad. Like pretty much everyone he's a mix, on one hand he's done some unbelievable humanitarian work and pioneered some fantastic ideas. On the other he's gave the world numerous examples of what an arrogant, selfish, and irresponsible lizard he is.

For me him buying up twitter will almost certainly be a more of a negative than a positive. He wants to essentially get rid of all moderation, basically make it no-holds-barred. You'll be allowed to post whatever disgusting, disgraceful and dangerous things you want under the guiss of "free speech". It's not what I think the world needs more of personally, cretins thinking they can do whatever they want. But obviously I realise lots of people don't agree with my stance and would argue it's the lesser of two evils compared to say, Russia or North Korea.

I've been on the verge of coming off twitter anyway but this might be the push I need. You think it's a cesspit now just wait until he brings Trump back.

I’m not really sure why people would dislike someone who used trapped kids as a publicity stunt, offered an unworkable solution which would have failed and likely caused further deaths and then called the person who risked their lives to actually save them a ‘pedo’
I really can’t put my finger on it.
For a second there I thoughts I was in the Benitez legacy thread.

Sounds like the problem isn't Elon musk there or Tesla , but America and their workers laws. You could never illegally sack someone here and not have significant concequences.

I know they are, but just because its not literal child labour doesn't mean it's all sunshine and rainbows. There are levels, something can be bad but not be as bad as child labour. You dismissed his claim by basically saying 'well its not child labour is it' as if anything less than that is irrelevant.

There are lots of stories about poor working conditions/practices at Tesla, here are a few from a quick google search.

Now don't get me wrong, im sure this stuff happens in countless workplaces all around the world, im not even trying to suggest Elon is one of the worst in this regard... but it is a valid criticism nonetheless and trying to dismiss it by saying 'well its not child labour' is a bit weak.

Yeah, there is nothing big happening in the UK right now about this.

Another article for you

On another note, interesting spelling of 'concequences'

As @Tubey said above its now racist to tackle the issue head on and you have to lock everything down rather than single out people based on culture, even if that's the cause.

Best case scenario is that it doesn't generate hate within communities if , like yourself have said you know what areas are affected to inflict a blanket punishment.

Personally I see the issue now is that it's too reactive and not focused. If you lock a city down because of a large outbreak in a factory , then clearly you can see what the issue is, yet the whole city suffers the concequences?

If there are large spikes at factories/warehouses etc then that won't go away, no matter how many people aren't allowed to visit family.
