Because the centrist conspiracy idiots are saying the same things and they're usually the most deranged anyway, I guess.
I've had to abandon conspiracy theory subreddits/websites/stuff (they're interesting and farfetched therefore fun to read, don't @ me lol ) because it's mostly Trump and Musk apology-posting, basically the meme that @Blue 1 posted above.
Can people who are older or smarter than me (or both) fill me in on whether people have always been stupid, or is this an emerging trend in the 21st century?
More vocal or at least with a more accessible/louder platform, in my opinion - I have the pleasure of growing up when facebook et al exploded, so we went from people being stupid in small groups and gatherings to being able to make groups with likeminded idiots all over the world and share to friends easier, etc.
People have definitely been stupid as long as there have been people though. Historically some of the idiots doing stupid things for internet clout would've been written down in folklore for doing something deadly - now you open youtube/tiktok/facebook reels and you get a compilation of 500 of those every hour.

I suspect that all this deep state, socialist, conspiracy, culture war stuff he bangs on about, is all in the service of getting a republican President so he and his companies can pay less tax.
