Anyone that’s been to Birkenau will know the last [Poor language removed] thing you want is your photo taken, or taking any photos tbh. The smell that lingers around the place has never ever left me. I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way, I mean the saturated stench of death is still very very obvious.
