For comparison, Alex Scott at Bristol is being touted at 20m and Kane Lewis-Potter was 20m and both these players have less numbers than Clarke. 25-30m in today's market like.

I know what you mean, Richarlison was priceless for us, sold him for 50 mill and a kick of a ball away from costing us £120 mill in relegation.

….Branthwaite has always looked a bit special to me. He’s a young defender and will make mistakes but I see quality, athleticism and attitude with him.

I’ve always liked Cannon. I put him in a totally different category to Simms in that his ability to step-up is unknown. Dyche had Vydra at Burnley who he used to good effect (he always tore the back out of Keane), and Cannon could be similar. I’d be very surprised if Dyche doesn’t have a good look at him pre-season. We should know more about him then.

The lad had 8 in 82 as a striker mostly. He was not effective haha. It's an amazingly bad take. Do you actually rate Cannon?

We would love him back

I think he could do well for you, he already has.
But, he needs to play regularly and is not up to Premiership football at the moment.
It is hard to know what his ceiling is but I do think that for such a big many his play lacks a physical side.
A season of playing him every week would improve him I am sure.

I saw Ellis earlier and asked him where he was off to. He said he was off to get himself a tattoo of Kevin Phillips and longed for the day he could once again wear the same jersey as his footballing hero Kenwyne Jones. Could be something in it?
