Unsworth said via his interview after the u23s won the league that simms and a few others [Joe Anderson, Einar Iversen] had signed new contracts
and they will step into the under-23 squad next season,its took Everton till 2 weeks or so later to actually confirm simms one

....I think so, Billy. He’s had a physical advantage playing in his own age group, he’ll now be up against better quality and physically stronger defenders. To be fair, he knows where the net is, but it’s a big season for him with the U23s.

Yep I have watched him a couple of times, the u/23 games looked hard for him, I know he is only a kid but I'm looking for things other than goals, like you mentioned before mate, maybe that will come we will have to wait and see.
