ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Nope, that was defo the reaction on here. Even the most ardent Fellaini fan (like me) acknowledged that he was bang out of order for reacting like he did. I was a bit shocked that it wasn't a higher ban myself, that is the reaction of a logical and sane mind.

I complained more about Moyes not pulling up Shawcross and being too open about it because I thought he'd get a very long ban.

Honestly, did EFC fans do this when Fellaini was up for his ban? Was there a chorus of 'well player x did y which is worse and didn't get a ban, so...'? I honestly felt like the majority reaction was, Felli you're an idiot, yes you've been provoked but that's no excuse, take it on the chin and move on. Or am I "misremembering" that Evertonians engaged in the same type of deflective behaviour?

this was my response straight after the match

my response once I'd seen the replays

and my response when i heard the punishment

i believe kopites are far from anything like that and that's why it's been blown out of proportion

Pepe Reina reportedly slams Luis Suarez bite ban as 'absurd'

"People in England are treating him different because he is Uruguayan; because he has had a previous episode like this. He knows perfectly well that what he did was wrong but a 10-game ban seems to me absurd, out of proportion and unfair. It seems that the people making the decisions have got it in for Luis a little bit.

"I know Luis and I know that he is the complete opposite (off the pitch). He is a magnificent person and great team-mate. But because of the way he plays, he is aggressive and very competitive, he plays like a street player and sometimes the way he is gets him into trouble.

"There is a lot of hypocrisy. Some players are treated differently to others. In the racism cases: the one with proof (against him, John Terry) got a four-game ban and Luis got eight matches."

Clown.

Away from RAWK what are the kopites at your workplace like? I have to admit the two I work with have been refreshingly OK about it.

On Monday one of them was very much Saurez is an idiot and deserves everything he gets, but then when the 10 game ban was announced he thought it was a complete outrage referring to Defoe, Fellaini and Ferguson.

The other has remained pretty adamant that its irrelevant as Saurez will be gone in the summer so 4 games or 10 games makes no difference to him

Have to say the ones I work with have not been too bad, one of them called a 10 game ban before it was announced and another said he only kissed him (but he was taking the piss).

Can't believe they're gonna protest the ban. Have they genuinely no shame anymore? They can't seem to realise the damage this man is doing to their club. He lets them down time and time again, and somehow it's the FA's fault?

Because David Gill (Man Utd's cheif exec) is the vice chairman of the FA, therefore it's an agenda against LFC
