They're an adorable bunch really..
In the Echo today. I can just picture Rodgers talking to prospective signings trying to sell them on the advantages of coming to play with no European football.
Yesterday I commented on one thread about clubs and their particular trajectories and understanding the realities facing your club to adjust expectations. These guys have never challenged top 4 even slightly over the last 2 seasons. Reckon there will be a large amount though agreeing with Rodgers, glad to have come 7th. Deluded.

“There are two arguments, as a club we want to be in there. We really enjoyed the European football this season after it had been missing for a year and I know the supporters love the travel. But you could argue that a season free of European football would give us a greater chance of finishing in a much higher position in the league – of competing for the top four which is a really difficult task with the teams up there and the finances involved."

What a bell end, if the league was based on money spent they would be in the top 3.

Some Kopites I know have been saying that they will be in Europe through the fair play league. Is this true?

Only if the pl gets into the top 3 fair play leagues in Europe. I think we are 4th currently. But if we get the spot the kopites would get because the have the best discipline in the league this season.

You would hope not, given Mr. Ed's antics. However, England was fourth in the UEFA fair play ranking as of Dec. 31 (top three associations get a Europa berth) and the ****e, believe it or not, are second in the PL's fair play standings, or were heading into their most recent match.

The Sh1te can forget about the FP League place.
1. England were 4th (3 places available). Nani killed that one (thanks Man U) - the 3 teams above are Sweden, Norway and Finland who, collectively, won't have played any European club football in 2013 so their average score remains unchanged.
2. Fulham are ahead of them.

It's done off league discipline isn't it ? Hence why every club in each league is in it. You yourself said Fulham are ahead of them.

The comments in the echo for this article will not make good reading for Brenda. This is the beginning of the end...

Because Spurs have really done terrible with Europa League football this year...
