Followed the money at Newcastle.

Followed the medals at United.

Followed Phil Taylor back to Stoke, after an exhibition in his local.

The only successful part of his career as a player, was with a Liverbird on his chest.

Quote about Owen on RAWK, LOL to the last sentence considering the 2nd

I think this is the one area our board are probably league leaders at!

To be honest With the exception of gossip about a couple of deals involving zahavi most of what I've heard about everton involves the words ''inept" and "amateur" rather than the sneaky double dealing that seems to be associated with other clubs .

After he helped deliver that incredible treble for them back in 2001, I can't believe they'd have the nerve to trash him

I really hope we don't behave or are perceived as being like them over players that have left, they are absolutely toxic can you imagine if Rooney had kissed the badge to them !

I'm just waiting for the s**t to hit the fan over Suarez.

Didn't realise their accounts had been published either, nice £40m loss and increase on the debt to a total of £80m. No Champions League football is killing them slowly.

You only have to look at the rise in overseas popularity of city since the money came in to see how 'shallow' the overseas fans are and being out of the champions league is going to keep hurting them in the smaller and broader financial sense and I love it. If they lost Suarez and spent the cash poorly it could further impact and let's be honest Rodgers is at best average in the market.

Rodgers is probably wondering how many Fabio Borinis he can buy for one Suarez.

Those continued losses mean somebody's pocket is getting pinched, and i can't imagine FSG being too happy with the situation.

they've gone from champions league finalists to mid-table and out of europe in what? 4/5 years - pretty quick if you ask me.

sadly, he's a little better than dalgleish, would love to see what dalgleish would do with the suarez money. rodgers' last two signings have been ok, but not spectacular, his problem is though is that he always buys what he knows. I think coutinho and aissidi are the only players he's bought at swansea and liverpool who he hasn't previously worked with, soon that help will run out.

I'm just not convinced on Sturridge to be honest and really neither was Rodgers I think he's more of a board buy to be honest whilst the others are pretty awful. With dalglish I don't think the players are that bad (a long way from good mind) but the prices are horrific for which he along with the worlds worst Director of Football he takes responsibility for.

I'm not defending his purchases Honestly but Carroll at £15m might have been seen to be not too bad and would have had a lot less pressure maybe the same really with a half price Henderson. I can see what they were trying to do but they made an unholy mess of it.

Makes me howl reading some Kopites talk about how Downing and Henderson are finally 'stepping up'. They're still both a million miles away from being worth what they cost more than a year ago.
