The only people using Hillsborough to score points in that situation are them, certainly when it comes to us and when it's most of OT singing it, it's clear that it's not about Hillsborough. No WAY have we ever done anything at all to besmirch the names of the 96. Frankly can't believe the audacity of kopites trying to pass Evertonians singing that song off as an insult to the 96. They usually wind it in when you explain it to them but they seem to enjoy throwing any accusation around if it sullies the name of anyone they don't like. No respect. I tend to rant a bit on this subject but it winds me up no end.
