If they sort out there defense they might not be bad, i do however don't think they will.
I expect them to thread water and us to progress, it is goinfg to be interesting haveing a financial level playing field with them over the first three windows of this Everton era, after making some bedding in staple siginings in Morgs, Idrissa, and Williams etc its time to dress the window, i would be concerned if i was them.
Pound for pound, they really do underachieve and make some woeful decisions.

The problem is dem yanks, honestly, they have the perfect chance to "kick on" a bit now, CL money, new TV deal, but sadly dem yanks only see a bottom line, thankfully, if they had proper owners I would be worried.
You can only see decline in their future mate, the new roof they put on their shed is viewed by them as a watershed, truth is their attendances haven't met the capacity and reports that their place is also a morgue full of day trippers.
They have gone so long without success of note that all the foreign kids will follow Chelsea, City Utd etc. There are generations coming who will be surprised they ever won trophies over years. Maybe that is to be expected devoid of the golden era that has been their natural place.
With us, Spurs, Chelsea and City Utd, building or boasting shiney new contemporary grounds maximising potential it's difficult to see them doing anything but threading water.
I think Klopp is a good manager, but he is wallpapering over a lot of cracks across the road.

Benzema
James Rodriguez
Isco
Renato Sanchez
Douglas Costa
Rafinha
and Arda Turan
...because, well why wouldn't they all drop down about 10 notches nad massively reduce their wages?
Not like the RS need a new keeper and whole new defence and central midfield like?
