The ball bags are getting a severe twist on at us laughing at them spending £billions and going backwards, so one of them has come up with this pearl.... dunno if it's correct or not.

I prefer the stat which shows how much each team has spent since last winning their domestic league, thats one alternative table that the rs are miles clear of everyone else on, like 3 times as much as the next biggest spender

Play for a team that's always 1st or 2nd in what is a two team league (basically) - hardly tells anyone whether he's a seriously good investment - so, bottom line, big risk.

Just looked on a few Sports pages - so why are the media creaming themselves over the possibility of 'Firmino II' arriving ???....
You can almost feel the '40 something' sports journo's yearning for something to happen that will make it all better again..

Thought the Hamstring was a joke going around. I wouldn't fret over this as they always do a major signing like this, the last few have been crap.

Difference is we accept we have been utter durge for the last 25 years but they insist on believing they are still one of the elite when all they do is spend like the elite, which they try blank out and deny.

Lets ask Blackburn, boro, pompey, Birmingham and Wigan fans if they would like to swap places with us.

@bluestevon heard alot about Alex Texeira but like @davek said its weird he hasnt even got a single cap even for Dunga to take a look at him. Also, as an attacking midfielder if he did go to liverpool he'd be competing with Coutinho, Lallana and Firminho for an attacking midfield position.

With Coutinho and Firminho both being Brazil internationals would he get a game ahead of them, or how would Klopp fit them all into his system?

One problem i had with the Byram deal was that for someone so highly rated by the media he never got an england youth cap despite being first choice at leeds and way ahead seemingly than other players...

Who in Ukraine is more highly rated, local boy Yarmolenko or import Texeira?
