@bluestevon heard alot about Alex Texeira but like @davek said its weird he hasnt even got a single cap even for Dunga to take a look at him. Also, as an attacking midfielder if he did go to liverpool he'd be competing with Coutinho, Lallana and Firminho for an attacking midfield position.

With Coutinho and Firminho both being Brazil internationals would he get a game ahead of them, or how would Klopp fit them all into his system?

One problem i had with the Byram deal was that for someone so highly rated by the media he never got an england youth cap despite being first choice at leeds and way ahead seemingly than other players...

Who in Ukraine is more highly rated, local boy Yarmolenko or import Texeira?

Teixeira once he got a bit settled would become part of the spine of that rs team mate and i have zero doubt he'd displace any of their current attacking mids, he is basically similar to Mkhitaryan in a lot of ways (and Texeira really kicked on once he'd left for Dortmund and the got moved to his best position) so can see why he may be after him, guessing that if he signs it means the end for one of their 25m+ players they already have which shows the level of ineptitude they have involved in transfers

In Ukraine I'd say Yarmolenko is rated higher amongst most (he's basically a national icon) but it's a close thing mate, they are regarded now as easily the best two players over their by everyone though

How do you think Teixeira would do behind Lukaku if Barkley moved back alongside Besic?

I think Martinez still needs a top centre midfielder but seems he isnt prioritizing that at the moment which is fair enough

Alex Texeira has played 146 games in 6 years and scored 67 goals in a pony league. For the money he will cost, he's no biggie.

any team that plays him as an attacking mid behind the forward he will do well at mate, will do better if he has players he can give an dgo with as well, he is just a very good player tbf, reason this lads goalscoring was lower by a lot before the last two seasons are that he was often palyed out wide and one season they dropped him back to centre mid - which is maybe one of the reasons he isn't your traditional lightweight attacking mid and can put himself about a bit as well, as i said he is really the perfect Mourinho type signing - not too young, good work-rate, technically good and score goals from midfield

Can I just ask, why are they on TV again? At home to Norwich, really? I'd love to see how many of their games have been televised this season. It's got to be an overwhelming majority
