Firmino was meant to be proper amazing too and has looked awful.

He's a 5ft 8 Brazilian in a poor league - the odds on him being Messi or Suarez (which is what Liverpool would need from one player to make any difference to their overall gashness) is pretty much nil.

Because Dunga is an utter clown of a manager maybe? same Dunga who omitted both Neymar and Pato from the 2010 world cup squad and then flopped with one of the most talented Brazil sides in years, using whose been capped by International managers as a judgement on players is daft in the extreme.

and no decent side has bought him but maybe same could be said about Lukaku and Barkley - must be crap they haven't been bought by Bayern or Madrid lad, as he hasn't even been sold yet lets wait and see IF any bigger side does come in for him eh?

Barkley and Lukaku are 21, This lad is nearly 27 and plying his trade in the Ukraine, Seems like he's had a couple of good seasons and now the RS are willing to spunk 30m on him, Stinks of Frimino all over again

Ba

His record in the CL is fairl average. Will struggle big time. Not that they'll get him anyway.

11 scored in his last 28, 9 in the last 20 in the CL from attacking mid for a team generally expected to be 3rd/4th in the group is a very good return mate tbf, disagree he will struggle when he does move, but do agree that they won't get him thankfully

I do question why, at 26, he's not been snapped up by a top club by now. If he is as good as @bluestevon says then he'd be settling for a big wage but no glory at Liverpool.

As he says, though, Shaktar have had and sold some decent players in recent times like Willian so we shouldn't rule out him being very decent.

he's not built like a flid like most Brazilian imports to the rs tend to be though, he is actually powerful on the ball - is he a Messi or Suarez level - not by a mile but he is a distinct improvement on Lallana, Firminho and Coutinho in ever way, as i've said prior, he'd be perfect for Chelsea in the Hazzard role

Late developer, until like 24 he was regarded as a good solid player but nothing amazing but he has came on massively over the last two seasons mate, also now he is central to everything they do and it suits him, he isn't the typical Brazilian lightweight who can be easily bullied out the game and has a bit of drive/snide about him.

Overall one who i hope goes elsewhere

He'd have the same type of impact over here that Payet/Mahrez has done - but I think he would sustain it
