Odd that, seeing that he said this on Wednesday, "Rodgers insisted Steven Gerrard had no problem with being made a substitute and revealed he had told the Liverpool captain a week ago he intended to leave him out of the game here". So Mr Clever knew that Gerrard would be injured a week before a game. Now that is weirdly clever.

And it doesnt tally with this load of inarticulate bo***cks either.

What a shame Origi is out on loan so escapes the criticism of being another waste of money by Rodgers, Origi looks just as bad if not worse as your Lamberts and Balotelli's. There has been a hell of a lot of money spent by that club and a hell of a lot wasted. 10/10 Brendan!
