Flipping triangles. False pivots. Soft feet.

What were we all playing at before this genius pitched up ffs?

He only does it to make it sound like its something new. Managers have been doing this for years, changing tactics though a game, but they accept that its what they are paid to do. Rodgers though cant stand this and likes to see the praise come his own way. He celebrated the own goals yesterday like they were of his own doing, and came about after tactical wizardry.

I just hope he gets caught out one day, and gets taken to task over it, cause for some reason even the most experienced TV pundits are getting caught up in his spiel and drivel.

What I like to call.......... What I did was............ The reason we did it was I........... I told them to............

Compare that to Martinez at the weekend, after some excellent football, and playing the right way tactically against Villa, who on their day can get a good result.......

I thought they were........... What the players did well was........... Some great performances out there....... They showed some phenomenal.......

Why does he have to invent terms as if the position never existed before he enlightened us all, the 'number 4' role for Christ's sake. What next, is he going to highlight how the keeper plays in the area and can use his hands, maybe he will call it the 'number 1' role.

The guy gets worse and worse trying to defend his ego.

Well, if he's talking about Mignolet, he can call it a false No. 1.

Random Rodgers Ramblings .....

Rodgers told talkSPORT: "With Mario yesterday, what I liked was that he was in the position to miss the chances."

And he told The Echo : “But the dynamic has changed. And with Sturridge out we don't have that so much. That leaves Raheem up there as the only one looking to break the line.
“So we shifted Stevie from that deeper playmaker role, what I would call the No.4 role, into a No.10 role.
“The problem then, though, is that you then need to get the ball into him. And in the first half our movement was too static, the circulation of the ball was too slow, and we couldn't get him on the ball. So we flipped the triangle around, moved him to the bottom, and that enabled him to start the attacks for us. We were a little bit better in the second half.”

Ha Ha Ha. What a belter he is.

"what I call a number 4 and a number 10"....Cheers Brendan, you're what we call a number 2.

Rodgers and Gerrard are both all about themselves. If Gerrard loved the team like he says he does he would pretend to have an injury so Rodgers could drop him without fear of backlash if it went wrong. Rodgers always takes the credit when they win but always has an excuse for failing. I know all managers are like that to an extent but I've never once heard him admit when he's made an error. Even Alex Ferguson could put his hands up to his mistakes.

Yep, Fergie always admitted to spotting Brendas' mistakes.
