Lastly, there has been some suggestion last year’s title challenge was some sort of fluke. While no one expected it, the rise into the top 4 certainly wasn’t a fluke. Liverpool’s expected goal ratio, which I found to have strong correlation (R2=0.78) with points earned, has risen since the 10/11 season where they posted a XGR of just 53.8, they’ve had an XGR of 0.636, 0.637 and last seasons 0.655 since that poor 10/11 season. In fact, they are the only team to have an XGR >0.60 to finish outside the top 4 (twice) in the last 4 seasons. It’s almost like there was a plan in place.

Some of them over there are in serious need of some mental healthcare and counselling.

Henderson:

"Stevie's probably not only the best captain for Liverpool and before with England, but in the game itself.....But off the pitch he conducts himself brilliantly too."

That saying about someone not being as thick as they look - doesn't apply to "Hendo".

Its like saying Ronnie Biggs is a model train passanger.

I think what he means is Suarez was ace.
Mother of god.. What is wrong with these people?

Theres a nothing type article with lavish pictures in the Mail Online regarding Sturridge doing his late night shopping at Sainsburys...all healthy stuff on the checkout feeder....cereals, fruit, veg etc. This was posted in the comments underneath.....

Ha...even the Danes have cottoned on to Rodgers The Bluff Merchant. Next stop, the Norwegians.

A plan to score more goals. Brilliant. How the other clubs haven't copped on to this I don't know!

I think the problem is the other clubs R2 rating is below the estimated goals ratio so there is nothing we can do to stop Liverpool.

On the other hand that R2 rating for Liverpool means that they just have to go again, not let it slip and they will win everything.

Damn you R2, I thought you were just the cool robot out of the 2 in Star Wars.. now your destroying both the dark side... and premier league football.

How's Raheem feeling today?

YAWN........
