who's to say Madrid won't knock up up a six goal shellacking over the RS over the course of the two games and Basle knock up a three or four goal overall beating of the other team?

In which case the RS would need to be winning by two clear goals against Basle as the goal difference would be turned around.

Looking at the table now and in light of them having to play Madrid in the next two games, I don't make them favourite to qualify from that group.
It will probably come down to the RS v Basle game. If RS need to win by 2 clear goals I expect that they will.

You are just basing thought on pessimistic thinking.

Nowt we have seen from the RS this season gives grounds for such pessimism.

In short, Pita, they are awful.

I am not even sure they would be capable of winning away at the team they struggled to beat in the first match.
