Top lad is our Lucas ...
If he can get back to his normal self after that injury... I will shed tears...To be fair when I see him back on the pitch I know I'm going to well up... In my head anyway his growth as a player has been one if the highlights of my watching football...taking into account he faced the lack of support if not abuse at times from some of our own and stood his ground... I swear he is a complete midfielder ... Hes not just a great defensive midfielder .... IMO he's already picked up some of mascher, alonso and gerrard in terms of challenging/tackling and his vision def was getting better and better before the injury... Not quite the 40 yard to feet passes but def the ability to recycle the ball and his cut straight through the opposition balls had increased as well ... If he progresses like I think he will and adds an attacking/scorig angle to his play after a positive recovery man we have a special player to watch...
