ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

They're putting the pressure on early and it'll be ratchetted up to maximum volume prior to KO. They know what they're doing. They know how to whine and bitch and pressurise and threaten in order to get the job done. The weight on Webb will be enormous when he takes to the field to give them a favour.

That's just part of their armoury. The other one to watch for is the way they'll try and neuter Everton's motivation by appealing to all this "Merseyside Merseyside" bollocks. Try and take the competitive edge off us.

We have a massive task just getting on an equal footing here in this SF even before the football starts...which is why I always dreaded it.

Prepare to be mugged.
maybe theyre terrified of us so they gotta rig the deck

I mentioned the whole conspiracy theories thing to my RS mate the other day, I was astonished to hear him back up the claim, and went on to say how Man U get all the decisions and how the FA have always had it in for Liverpool.

I was shocked, he's a clever lad and well read on football in general, he doesn't usually show much bias towards Liverpool and is complimentary of Everton when it's due.

I guess the delusion gets to the best of them. He is a lurker on RAWK, like. Probably explains a few things.

RAWK

Time to buckle up as its finally here. The moment everyone bar us have been waiting for.

The chance to finally stick the boot into kenny and rejoice at doing so.

Just seen mark brights tweets. For a professional Bbc broadcaster its shocking. Making sarcastic comments about us. You wouldn't get that with any other club.

This is the time a lot of fans and former players have waited for. They were all initially worried when kenny stepped back in and started to progress us, but now we are in a bit of free fall it's a chance to kick us in the nuts for the years of success we had before the game got bogged down in money.

We all need to stick together. I understand kenny has made mistakes and it's a painful to take but well get through it. But not join in with those nobs who have waited along time to see some sort of failure from kenny at his beloved club.

It's this level of delusion that makes me love them so.

RAWK Again

We've won more already than Newcastle or Arsenal will this season, and we'll have won more than either United or (more likely) City too.

We can win more than both manc clubs put together this season!

We'll sell more shirts worldwide than Arsenal will this season....

Nothing would make me prouder than to see every single Liverpool supporter chanting Dalglish's name in the next game, and for us to stand 100% firmly behind Kenny

One of my very proudest days as a red was the parade of honour after we'd been put out the cup by Reading.
It was a massive statement of what we are.
It was a massive **** you to the press.
Time for another one.

They've always hated us. Even when we were the best team in the world they only gave us begruding respect through gritted teeth, wishing it was Man Utd sweeping all aside instead of us. Now that we're not the force we once were they're revelling in it. They cant wait to tell us we're deluded and no longer a big club and that kinda hurts how direspectful they are to a club that once helped put english football at the top.

Arsenal £400k
Everton £2.2m
Newcastle £10m
Liverpool £100k
Tottenham -£6.5m

So Everton and Newcastle, the two teams people in this thread are holding up as the modest spenders, did put in investment in January. We didn't, and we're struggling.

so... the investment we spent in January is the reason for a parade?
