ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Today's Echo Supplement, creatively titled "We Go Again !" again still maintains that last season hinged on "the slip" and no mention whatsoever of the Palace game. It does however have a vintage soundbite from Rodgers.....
"Part of the process of winning is being able to lose like we did". I feel a banner coming on.

Oh so this one does actually mention that they in fact didnt win it last year. Not like James 'Brendan led Liverpool to the brink of their first premier league title' Pearce.

I've always found that quote amusing. To be fair though, they did win the xmas league trophy, much to the delight of many kopites on my facebook.

Another part of the process of winning is not losing like they did and in fact.. well...winning instead.

More profits for the arms industry...

Liverpool have wasted Luis Suarez money says Trevor Francis

I nearly gagged when I seen that, how dare any one criticise the RAWK fave? I think we have been saying for many posts Rodgers has paid too much for some players and has a quarter of the Southampton team. I was astounded to read that Origri has gone out on loan!!!! Rodgers has still not finished his spending according to what is about. Still think they are kicking themselves for not wading in for not wading in with an offer for Rom. I think with all this money going out he is digging himself a hole, on the face of it he had better win the PL for the American Owners or they will be spewing in their Bourbon.

"The accusation that they somehow ‘bottled it’ ignores the fact that they won 12 and drew one of their final 14 league games."

The posh lad who writes for them in the Echo has an unusual standpoint on this. The good run of games got them in pole position to win it. Not winning it from that base is the very definition of bottling it.
