Kone is a one in three striker, you can just tell. He'll miss open goals every game for eight games in a row and then score a hatrick of luck in the ninth.

Now you're just being stupid.

Nobody said all goals were equal, but if you're going to discount his goals in the Ivorian league then surely it's common sense to look at his appearances for Seville and realise the majority of them were sub appearances and he had major injury problems during that period of his career.

You can't discount one set of figures to suit your argument and then ignore other factors.

"You can't pick and choose what information you want to include to prove your point." is absoloutly saying that all goals are equal and also that all appearances are equal.

Over his career, michael wilde has a better record than kone. If you're not picking and choosing your data, you can't dispute that. Though, admittedly he is from birkenhead so not really a scouser.

It's really not.

You've blown it big time here.

Brett Angell and Jo both have better career goal ratios than big dunc. Since we can't pick and choose which goals are worth more than others, we have to agree they're both better strikers.

Let's be honest Big Dunc wasn't actually that great as far as strikers go.

Ducks for cover*

No there isnt.

Theres every chance we could get him again - for a start he almost went back to WBA for a second season, also they have recent form for loaning great young players out to the same club for several years (Courtois), and finally you cant rule out the possibility that they will buy some world class player in his position between now and the summer.

The lad is 20, he could spend the next three or four years out on loan before being an automatic selection over there.
