ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Robertson was in an offside position and makes a moment. If he does not duck then the ball hits him so he is affecting the play by taking this action. If he doesn't duck it hits him and he is offside.
It’s mad how this appears to have alluded so much of the media .

I don’t mind RS fans moaning about it because it’s what fans do but when I think of some of the absolute corkers we’ve been the wrong side of that have been dismissed without comment it’s a bit irritating.

It doesn't affect their livelihood when it happens to us

You’re not wrong but The problem is the media response perpetuates the behaviour of their fans . They’re indulged like the favourite child , theyre told it isn’t their fault and they’ve only lost because they’ve been cheated . Imagine that for 30 years it’s no wonder they behave like they do .

I wonder if the same melts moaning about one legs goal being disallowed were up in arms when it happened to us?

When we scored a late winner against utd, you know the one where gylfi was adjudged to be offside and interfering (despite being on the ground from a clear foul which should have been a pen)

The one where de gea dived the right way (so clearly wasn't impeded), before the ball changed direction after hitting maguire
..

Did they moan about that one?

Or how about obriens disallowed header?

The one that went straight through vicario who could have had the freedom of the stadium and still wouldnt have saved it?

Thought not, how's it feel to be treated like the rest of us?

the bit they dont show any more is just before the ball is headed, Robertson is jostling with the keeper, affecting the keepers potential positioning for when the ball comes goal wards. No different to ours against spuds. Personally I think-both goals should stand but they are at least being treated consistently for once

The disallowed goal had nothing to do with the keepers line of sight - it was disallowed because Robertson, stood well offside, had to literally duck for the ball not to hit him square on, 2 feet from the keeper, massively affecting Donnarumma's decision making.

You would think just once or maybe by the law of averages they would just accept defeat with a touch of grace, I mean it was 3-0 and City had long took their foot off the gas..
