ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

"Sarcastic applause is explicitly listed in the Laws of the Game under Law 12 (Fouls and Misconduct) as a form of dissent by action which shows a clear lack of respect for the match official(s).
The referee has the authority to issue a yellow card for any action that constitutes dissent, and numerous professional players (such as Wayne Rooney and Wilfried Zaha) have been cautioned and sometimes even sent off (if it is their second yellow card) for this exact offense"

Thought I'd made a terrible mistake the other day, booked a family meal not realising City were playing Liverpool at that time. We walked in and the "Crowd were roaring" and my heart sank, luckily City scored their third and it was like having desert before dinner. We sat down and I swear I heard someone shout " Man on" at the tv ! I'm sure half of these think they are actually at the match..
