ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Main sport article today. Liverpool get a decision against them and let's discuss how we can change the rules. First example in the article:

"Is it fair, for example, that Brentford were given such a high chance of scoring when Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk tapped the boot of Dango Ouattara right on the edge of the 18-yard area last month?"

The one law I'd like to see changed is the one where Liverpool have at least 12 players on the pitch every game.

Just 15 things they have to fix then...

They haven't figured it out yet: that all those criticisms form others outside LFC that they were carried to a title last season were absolutely spot on and that their team and manager are utter tat.

They're so bad that that PGMOL and the PL have had to abandon their plans to hand them back-to-back titles, because not even the Establishment Club's media could sell it as feasible.
After spunking HALF A BILLION POUNDS the last window, and countless hundreds of millions every single window before that…..

They are genuinely insane.

Should have spent more money buying off officials and Pigmol instead.

He said that Ref shouldn't be reffing Liverpool games because he lives by Manchester.

They've got an absolute brass neck to call us bitter.

To be fair that Paul Salt pulled him up on it.

I'd love to wind him.
Wasn't it the same ref who disallowed our goal against United (the nameless Icelandic player was on his arse in the box)? He then sent off Ancelotti at the end of the match for raising his eyebrow at him IIRC! If nothing else the ref is at least consistent. Sniff it lurkers!

My biggest annoyance with that was Gilfy was fouled by Bassaka and ended up offside because of the foul. Should have been a penalty if the goal was disallowed.

No frees to be allowed either now.

One for the oldies...Terry mcdermot was clearly offside in a league cup final years ago...it stood.
Things do balance out....eventually.

Honchoz and Hyppia did about three handballs between them in finals in their treble season. They dived for the penalty for the equaliser in Istanbul, Dudek was a mile off his line, they got a pen in the final v Spurs for a ball hitting Sissoko’s shoulder. Lukaku was given offside in the league cup final even though there was fresh air between him and the defender that’s how onside he was.

They really really need to shut up about decisions against them because you could take half their recent trophies off them if you looked at all the ones that went their way. Even if referees had just enforced the second yellow rule properly I doubt they even win the league last season, McCallister and Konate were getting away that one week after week after week.
