They can’t back Barca because that would put them on number 6 so they cant have that

They’ll all pretend to back Dortmund but every man and his dog knows they’re getting punted in the next round.

Probably leaves them backing Inter Milan which I suppose is their natural position in opposition to Juventus fans.

Least the Dortmund fans had the common sense to call Klopp out for being the massive hypocrite he is taking Red Bull’s money. Liverpool fans would throw themselves off a cliff like lemmings if he told them to even now.

Why would they put that effort in?

I think the punishment for the PL was for them to be handed a boring procession of a PL season. Job done.

All politics.

You cant be the last 4 times PL champions and fall off a cliff like this and end up 23 points behind a pony Liverpool team.

That's just not possible.

City tanked this season for a reason.

It wouldn't have been an effort if they simply chose to make the season boring just to spite the PL. And fancy going to all that trouble when it could have been two or more other clubs who made it a close thing. City didn't know how the season was going to pan out.

Point of order Mr Chairman...I'm not sure going a goal down then huffing and puffing to get an equaliser is actually 'dominating'

I went to that match and believe me, we played them off the park. You can dominate without scoring, as PSG showed us in Paris last week.
