As a Dutchman we know how to lose penalties.

Can’t go around saying that sort of thing as the manager of Liverpool Arne, 90% of the trophies they’ve ever won have come from scrambling past a better team than you on penalties.

Just shows how entitled they’ve been that the majority of RS were absolutely shocked that they lost a penalty shoot out, an event that happens to most clubs quite regularly, but they’re absolutely amazed it’s happened to them.

I actually think the ref was quite good last night. Apart from the fact he probably could have booked a couple more RS players. He was quite fair in his decisions and didn't bow down to them baying for blood.

They’re all moaning about getting PSG. This is what the champions league is supposed to be like!

No other team in Europe made all those finals playing Porto Benfica, Porto, Villarreal, Porto, Roma, Porto, Spurs, Porto, Sporting Lisbon, Porto.

I mean what other team goes on consecutive runs to the final and gets semi final ties vs Roma and Villarreal?

The only notable teams in knockouts they beat in the entire Klopp and Slot periods were Barcelona in the other semi, a terrible AC Milan team, an awful Bayern team possibly at their lowest ebb in recent times, and then City with all the questionable refereeing that occurred there.

Real Madrid battered them on 4 occasions. Atletico Madrid dumped them out. They’ve now lost to PSG.

One of Real Madrid’s recent CL runs is probably harder than the entirety of all the fixtures Liverpool have played in knockouts for the last 8 years!

I think the punishment for the PL was for them to be handed a boring procession of a PL season. Job done.

You cant be the last 4 times PL champions and fall off a cliff like this and end up 23 points behind a pony Liverpool team.

That's just not possible.

City tanked this season for a reason.
