ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

sentence is harsh,he killed nobody, had he been pi$$ed and killed a child whilst driving he wouldn't have got that long, by law.
The man is clearly a danger to society he "has a series of previous convictions for serious violence and other offences dating back to the early 90s. He was jailed for a year for biting off a sailor’s ear in a pub brawl in July 1993, six months after being discharged from the Royal Marines after a string of previous offences. He joined the Royal Marines in March 1991, aged 19, after a short period in the Royal Engineers, but quickly got into trouble for violence, dishonesty and criminal damage. By the time he was discharged from the military in January 1993, he had six civilian and service convictions. " Previous convictions are usually taken into account.

Mate, he made no attempt to stop and if another fella never dived in the back of his car and stop him it would have been worse.

You can’t wilfully endanger peoples lives without consequences just because you lost your temper.

From the article -
Damian Nolan, defending Louis James, said Liverpool FC could not claim reputational damage from the fraud "because senior players in the first team squad were equally active in this market as anyone and that was happening right under the club's nose."
Mr Nolan said: "Liverpool cannot claim to be damaged here because they tolerated the same behaviour from players and staff.
"The club want to control the secondary ticket market - that's what this case is about."

Wow.

LFC must be delighted that Doyle case has filled the newsrooms otherwise that could have been picked up on a lot more.

Then again, the Establishment Club would get their media to spin it as the club being victimised again.

TBF it was the defending lawyer who made the claims about 'Senior first team players'
You would think however that he would have to be very confident in his claims to state that in the court room. 🤷‍♂️
