He's not a football fan. Baseball mainly.

Yeah me too. I saw him in Marseille last weekend and am doing Milan x2. I reckon that takes me to 25ishx since the 90s. One of the chaps who I go with has seen him over 50x.

Did the pit in Marseille but very happy to have seats for both San Siro gigs.

A huge hero of mine. I only saw the first Lille gig this time round as finances are a bit tight.

For a 75 year old he plays like a man possessed, a legend who doesn't need to sing Liverpool songs to be popular.

I did watch it yes. The time spent speaking about someone everyone knows he hates could have been spent on other songs. I know his political leanings, they’re not a secret. It’s not like Trump is on our polling cards is he, it doesn’t make a blind bit of difference to us.

I’ve been bigging him up and defending him all day to people that went to their first Bruce gig last night. They’d heard stories about these amazing tour de force shows. I had to keep reminding them that he’s 76 in September and that even though he’s slowing down he’s still giving everything that he has to the show. I sang louder and danced harder than anyone in the section where I was standing by the sound booth. I’ve seen him nearly a dozen times but that was the first time that he’s spent so long in between songs talking about the same subject. And the problem was that it was mainly in the first hour, people were losing interest around me and were scrolling through their phones.

It was still an amazing show and set list, he just needed to reign in the political spiel a bit.
