ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Will judge them after they've played City, Villa, Spurs, all of whom I think will exploit their vulnerabilities. They narrowly beat Chelsea, were lucky to get a point at Arsenal. Other than that they've had nice fixtures and still needed to be bailed out by their wealth up front several times. Need Arsenal to stop dropping points desperately though.

They are doing well. Top of the league and champion league. Their new manager settling in OK.
He's taking advantage of a very poor league. The only team making progress is Chelsea and they've got so many new players, and a new manager, so they'll be inconsistent. City have been getting gradually worse for the past 3 years, despite still winning stuff. Arsenal seem unable to cope with a few injuries. Man United are still a basket case. Sours are Spurs! So there isn't much to beat really, and by adding a measure of control to a decent team with a very good forward line he's got them in a good place. It's still early days though so we'll see if they can keep it up.

I was saying this the other day. The league is crap. Almost every team that’s been decent in recent years - bar Liverpool - has degraded and a few of those that were crap, ie us and particularly Bournemouth and Forest, have improved a bit. The overall standard of football though has taken a bit of a dive.

TBF, your club has been doing a lot better since they took the reins away from Boehly, and told him to go sit in the corner and shut it while the grown-ups conduct business.
