ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

My guess is it’s more RS 15/27 points this year and city 24/27 .

If you include cup games :

RS 11 games 4 draws , 4 wins and 3 defeats
City 15 games 14 wins and 1 defeat .

I’m not saying the RS are crap because far from it they aren’t but this year, 2019 , city have been significantly better . Hence why from those rats strolling to the title at the very least we’ve got a genuine race .
Exactly.

And this Sunday is a chance to trip them up I never expected two months ago.

Let's hope these players, who owe us, take it.

Fantastic from City dave, but a lot people said the RS were bottling it, they weren't handling the pressure, Klopp was losing it, to answer all that with a 5-0 win IMO is putting a marker down to the people questioning them, up to us now.

I was talking to a good mate whose a RS about this game and same as Bournemouth we both felt they’d stroll it. They’re opponents that are made for them , big day at anfield and playing the ‘right way’ . Don’t get me wrong that doesn’t mean I didn’t hope they’d sneak something. All the RS will be applauding Watford’s open style just like Eddie howe’s , to me it was nothing if not predictable. They have two tests this week, United and us . Four points would be great four them one or two would be a failure , let’s hope it’s the latter not the former .

Nah. Its just a perfunctory win over a decent but middling PL team. It stops their rot...but their problem is that they dont score a lot in every game...hence the damaging draws. Not nearly enough wins like this for them, and hopefully it catches up with them.

I've said and I stick to my prediction that they'll sneak the title and I make them favourites. But that's only because I see City taking on too much. The game time is murderous and the injuries will hurt them.

I always have a feeling City have a slip up in them, especially with, as you say, them taking on too much.

I do. If this was last season's City I'd crown them champions now even if they were 5 points behind.

It'll be tight - and I'm hoping for a big De Bruyne surge in the remaining games - but I see City's superstars eyeing up the CL more than the PL.

A dead cat bounce, Lou.

In the midst of our horrible run since Anfield we won 5-1 at Burnley :)
