City just don’t look confident without Fernandinho. Mind you when Liverpool win 1-0 it’s a good gritty win whereas when City do it it’s a sign that they’re faltering apparently. Both sides look as though a half decent prem team could take points off them.

Sadly mate there's only about 4 of them. The fact this Liverpool side is closing in on 2 years unbeaten at Anfield and lost once in 28 matches tells you how weak this league is. This liverpool side wouldnt have been top 5 10 yeara ago, nevermind look like winning it.

That cup final and the days after were a bigger hurdle for City to get over than the loss of Fernandinho and Laporte....who will be back after the international break.

My guess is it’s more RS 15/27 points this year and city 24/27 .

If you include cup games :

RS 11 games 4 draws , 4 wins and 3 defeats
City 15 games 14 wins and 1 defeat .

I’m not saying the RS are crap because far from it they aren’t but this year, 2019 , city have been significantly better . Hence why from those rats strolling to the title at the very least we’ve got a genuine race .
