Unless I've totally mistaken this detail from 40 years ago when it was huge here, 6 a side: 5 plus keeper. Basically just a mashup of ice hockey and football.

I still can't get over that the guy I saw live playing indoor soccer for my home team (Tacoma Stars) and became our local hero not many people would've ever known about actually went on from that to play for Everton. And then after he moved back here decades later to be one of the coaches for our MLS team, a buddy of mine (former coworker who I coached American football with for a few years)'s son was a groomsman in his son's wedding (or vice-versa).
