We'll go 1-0 down really quickly, then turn it around and make it 2-1 to us at halftime, and after that we'll conceed two more and it's gonna be really nervous finish but we'll go through...

...but a calmer 1-1 draw will do me better :)

Barry I suspect as he's suspended in the league and did a solid job in the first leg.
When Barry plays he is an extra centre half conceding the midfield to the opposition and messing up our defence, by us playing too deep we do not need to invite this unbeaten home team on to us - so I would hope to play Gibson and Barkley early on to jam the midfield , and let Barkley break behind Lukarku, and fetch Atsu on later as an out let with speed - we have no winger other than Atsu!
May be it will be Osman And Gibson an MaCarthy in the centre mid with Barkley or Kone behind Lukarku - playing Barry causes problems as he is a risk of being sent off is another reason not to play him
I worry he will no 2 choice on the team sheet like Tim Howard was no 1 choice when he was, and is playing his worst season for us!

My heart keeps "skipping" the butterflies keep coming, oh what Everton does to you!:)
COYB! Massive game today! Do you think we'll set up like:
Howard
Coleman- Stones - Jags - Baines (offers more defensive prowess for that yarmo tw*t)
McCarthy - Gibson - Besic
Osman
Kone - Rom

Mate, transferring this to the match thread, thanks.

I'd start with barry, think the key to winning this is to park the bus for the first half hopefully keeping it at 0-0 and then gradually start to stretch them, they were out on their feet for the last time 20 mins at goodison so fitness wise we have them and its that last 20 minute spell that we should be aiming to win the game....

Martinez will never play a midfield diamond as long as he lives. Then again, I didn't think he'd ever play two up front so he might surprise me yet

you mean park the bus for the first half like we did in the first leg to universal boos from the Goodison faithful?

He has to go:

mcacrthy Barry

Gibbo

2 solid dm's and a forwards passing man in the middle. We need to keep it tight tonight and pay on the break.

However if we score 2 we effectively win the tie while 1 would do it for them if we don't score.

Once we score a goal the away goal rule works in our favour so I think we need to go for it rather than sit back and have to endure a nervy last 20 mins.
