dyche thinks

Well it’s not January 2023 anymore and Dyche hasn’t just walked into the club has he? So why isn’t he saying “people at the club told me this happened”, he’s just stating it in passing as if it’s fact that it did happen. Honestly the hoops some of you Dyche fans will jump through to defend him is laughable. He knows exactly what he’s doing, he is an odious contemptible slimeball, just like his idol Mrs Thatcher.

He was asked what was it like coming into a club of uncertainty and instability.

His answer was dealing with the media side. A big one was the CEOs not going the game due to x,y,z at the time.

That's all. Like I said in the post, if he'd confirmed one element I'd agree with the fume. He didn't. He said what was happening at the time.

Not jumping through hoops. Just not a fan of heads going for something out of nothing or taking it out of context because people don't like them.

Even when he was here, if hed have said "we play in blue" people would kick off

Mate I wasn’t a fan of lampard but you don’t see me calling him an odious slimeball . It’s weird like

Dyche actually is that though. All he’s done since his deserved sacking is tour the media telling everyone how hard he had it, throwing other fellow managers like Kompany, Lampard and now bizarrely Ruben Amorim under the bus, and repeatedly throw sly digs at Everton fans. It’s really becoming obvious why he was hated by the players, he is a horrible man.

Lampard may be a poor football manager but he carries himself with dignity which is why he gets treated differently as a former manager. Nobody would say he didn’t also deserve to be sacked when he was.

They hated walker (and with good cause)
They said never go back re Kendall.
They didn't agree with Royle trying to resign some of his stalwarts when trouble was brewing.
Smith was 'dour and disappointing'.
Moyes apparently always played down expectation, M&S vs Harrods etc.
martinez was of course phenomenal.
koeman bought the wrong baubles, and was far to keen on his golf handicap.
allardyce was bad.
Silva was vanilla, didn't really get time to be hated in full.
Ancelotti couldn't get away fast enough.
if allardye was wrong, benitez was so much worse.
lampard was grossly out of his depth. Like putting an infant in charge of an army, the scale of the task overawed him.
Dyche was a sticking plaster, a one note manager that'd patch up the basic issues and grind seasons out.
Now Moyes is back and all the old cutlery is being found again.

Some fans just want to moan. Laugh at them.

Was there a statement that went out saying that board members were told not to go the ground due to safety concerns? Yes.

Did any of those board members go to the game after the statement? No.

So when he's asked about the "uncertainty and instability" when he arrived, his response was difficulty dealing with the media about for example - the chairman, CEO etc not being able to come to the game cos they'll get "hammered, death threats, booed"

He's not said he believed it or indicated the real story or anything, he said it as an example as something that was a big news story which was baggage from a media point of view that he's stepped into that wasn't ideal.

So again, where has he "lied?". He's not given a view point on it. He's not elaborated on it. He's just used an example of what happened (board members not going the games) in context of an unstable club.

Just find it weird people fume over anything he says.

Oh get in the bin

Who told them not to go to the ground because of safety concerns pal?

The police? No, they never had any credible threats.

Here's the actual wording of the statement

Everton’s Board of Directors have been instructed not to attend today’s Premier League fixture against Southampton because of a “real and credible threat to their safety and security".

Chairman Bill Kenwright, CEO Denise Barrett-Baxendale, Chief Finance & Strategy Officer Grant Ingles and Non-Executive Director Graeme Sharp have reluctantly accepted the outcome of the safety assessment carried out by security advisors.

The Board members received the instruction following malicious and unacceptably threatening correspondence received by the Club and increasing incidents of anti-social behaviour – including targeted physical aggression - at recent home matches.

A Security & Safety Advisor said: “Following a thorough risk assessment, and in response to tangible threats received by the Club and intelligence we have gathered, the Club’s Board members have been told they must not attend today’s fixture.”

An unnamed Security & Safety advisor?

Oh very interesting. Take two guesses who paid them their wages.

It's a pathetic pack of lies that they hid behind and now Dyche is repeating again.

He's a liar. They're liars.

I’m basing it on the fact that vitriol is everywhere on the internet, and in today’s world every player receives abuse and death threats after a bad performance. A death threat for an owner of a football club isn’t unlikely, I’m not even saying it was an evertonian. I’m just saying because the club haven’t published it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. I’d say they get some mad stuff in their emails over the years .

Get lost.

This is all your opinion and speculation.

Same with the absolute bollocks Dyche just spouted off repeating these completely unsubstantiated claims.

Fact is he doesn't have anything to point to other than that bollocks statement the boards own people put out that Merseyside police claimed was utter hogwash.

Alright calm down 😂

You’ve built a paranoid delusion up about a man you’ve never even met which is definitely exacerbated by all the banter we had on here vaulting people and having petty online arguments.

And Dyche went into these specifics about all this in the interview? No.

The above is proving my point where he said THAT was an example of what he walked into at the time and dealing with media.

But people think he's playing the fiddle for people no longer associated with the club after getting paid handsomely to leave.

I don't believe what actually happened. No fan does. Don't even think Dyche does (hence the "hammer, death threats, boos" quote rather than just saying "death threats"). But it's a different discussion from the interview
