dyche thinks

That false story about Denise being put in a headlock made it into headline sports news. And didn’t Merseyside Police confirm they hadn’t received any reports of threats against Everton’s directors? I really don’t understand why people keep defending Dyche for bringing up an unsubstantiated claim that the directors received death threats. Pointing to other teams receiving threats is pure whataboutism-it’s not evidence that any threats were actually made in this case.

Dyche didn't say anything about the headlock

He is lying through his teeth repeating the lies Kenwright told.

The only reason any of them didn't go was because they didn't want to face the abuse they had well earned.

Any bollocks over death threats or headlocks is utter propaganda bollocks and PED is right to label him liar for spreading them.

Was there a statement that went out saying that board members were told not to go the ground due to safety concerns? Yes.

Did any of those board members go to the game after the statement? No.

So when he's asked about the "uncertainty and instability" when he arrived, his response was difficulty dealing with the media about for example - the chairman, CEO etc not being able to come to the game cos they'll get "hammered, death threats, booed"

He's not said he believed it or indicated the real story or anything, he said it as an example as something that was a big news story which was baggage from a media point of view that he's stepped into that wasn't ideal.

So again, where has he "lied?". He's not given a view point on it. He's not elaborated on it. He's just used an example of what happened (board members not going the games) in context of an unstable club.

Just find it weird people fume over anything he says.

"It's likely" is blatant speculation.

There's nothing substantial behind those claims beyond your own desire to believe those lies.
I’m basing it on the fact that vitriol is everywhere on the internet, and in today’s world every player receives abuse and death threats after a bad performance. A death threat for an owner of a football club isn’t unlikely, I’m not even saying it was an evertonian. I’m just saying because the club haven’t published it doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. I’d say they get some mad stuff in their emails over the years .

Yes, go to United...they're already been beheaded; disembowel them too, Sean. šŸ˜‚
Had to laugh when I read this quote on sky:

"Former Everton and Burnley boss Sean Dyche has claimed he would win more games than Ruben Amorim if he was Manchester United boss."

I suppose he can say that the last time he was at Old Trafford United won 4-0, (beating a Sean Dyche managed Everton).

No but he did about the equally unsubstantiated death threats.

In context of him walking into a club that put a statement out about it.

If he'd have said "Well Gary, the chairman and exec received death threats so I was very disturbed by it" is more along the line of confirming something.

Him saying they couldn't come because of "hammer, death threats, and boos" isn't solidifying anything in my view apart from him saying those people couldn't/didn't go for any of one those reasons that he'll know little about. Apart from what was put out at the time in the media

Well it’s not January 2023 anymore and Dyche hasn’t just walked into the club has he? So why isn’t he saying ā€œpeople at the club told me this happenedā€, he’s just stating it in passing as if it’s fact that it did happen. Honestly the hoops some of you Dyche fans will jump through to defend him is laughable. He knows exactly what he’s doing, he is an odious contemptible slimeball, just like his idol Mrs Thatcher.

It's not often I'll gesticulate at the TV (usually Everton are on) but that part had me:

This is just embarrassing
