He's had minimal game time because hes crap.

End of last season, yes.

Did he look fit then do you think?

I think he was WAY off it, something was up there.

This is the first time I've seen him in a season.

Playing like a guy who knows his times up here.

I think he’s been made a bit of a scapegoat in some ways. He didn’t have a good game but he wasn’t any worse than anyone else to be honest. He was getting pelters round me all game while Alcaraz and grealish stunk the gaff out and nobody said a word.

Look we have better players now but at one time he was quite literally our only creative outlet.

Yes we need, and have, better but he was once our only glimmer of light in a world of darkness.

I can’t bring myself to slate him.
