McNeil was set up to fail this evening on the right and he did (he wasn’t the only one who was poor by any means). This isn’t new, he’s been consistently dreadful in every game there. How many more times do we have to watch it to know ffs?! Play him on the left, centrally or not at all.
If he’s not even able to put a dead ball in to the mixer with pace he offers zero.

I think he’s been made a bit of a scapegoat in some ways. He didn’t have a good game but he wasn’t any worse than anyone else to be honest. He was getting pelters round me all game while Alcaraz and grealish stunk the gaff out and nobody said a word.

I reckon if it was someone else, almost anyone else, I guarantee they'd get fairer treatment than Dwight.
