Seems like he's slowly becoming more comfortable on the opposite flank. Still obviously a confidence player but when he feels loved he's very handy to have in the squad. Deserves his place at the moment.

If he is the best we can do I will eat my hat ,I hate the way he trundles back at about half the speed of their attackers .Well past the sell by date .

What I am saying is the past is the past and at present I wouldn't play him in a pub team .Yes he makes the odd pass or scores the odd goal but that is not enough .Could you see him in any other side in the top half of the division ? Can you not imagine another Illy instead ?

You have to put sentiment to aside he’s not good enough if this club has ambition to be a club competing for high level European football and hopefully trophies.
